Paget Brewster returning to 'Criminal Minds'

Paget Brewster will return for the upcoming seventh season
of Criminal Minds ,
while Rachel Nichols has been given the axe,
it has been claimed. Deadline reports that CBS and the show's
producersOne Tree Hill have exercised a clause in Brewster's
contract to bring her back to the show, following the failure
of her NBC comedy pilot The Good Wife.
Brewster's commitment
to Experiment resulted in her character Emily Prentiss
playing a reduced role in the show's sixth season,
before seemingly being killed off.
