Sophie Dahl is the granddaughter of famed author Roald Dahl she is also an author, socialite, food expert and model.
She has written and presented a cookery series The Delicious Miss Dahl ,featuring her favourite recipes and top tips.
Sophie Dahl is returning to BBC for a documentary about the pioneering cookery book author Mrs Beeton.
She is to explore Victorian writer Isabella Beeton's life and try out some of her recipes.
Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management was a must-have for all Victorian wives and written when she was just 23 – five years before she died.
In the hour-long program, called Sophie Dahl on Mrs Beeton, Dahl will make some of Beeton's recipes such as carrot jam and pigeon pie to see if they appeal to modern palates.
Dahl said: "I have been a long-time enthusiast of Mrs Beeton and leapt at the chance to learn more about her extraordinary life through this programme. People have an image of her as a starchy Victorian matron, but she was actually a startlingly modern woman, who wrote her famous book at the age of 23."
So anyone who wants to be a good wife or perfect mother, you need to be a kitchener at the same time. Then you would not miss the delicious miss dahl 4 dvd.
