Assessment of Lung Ching Tea Empty Assessment of Lung Ching Tea

It’s similar to value Longjing tea as other green tea. Mostly we value its shape when it’s dry, and value its soup color, fragrance, taste, place of origin and so on when it’s wet.

We take 100g sample tea leaves and put them on a plate to value shape. Through the shape assessment, we can distinguish West Lake Longjing from Zhejiang Longjing.
Mostly top grade Longjing’s soup color presents light green or light yellow. What’s more, middle grade tea and even worse dragon well tea w a little tawny. And it’s difficult to distinguish the origin of the tea from the soup color.
We value the leave bottom from the aspect of color, tenderness, integrity. Sometimes we put the dregs into enamel plate, and then pour cold water in it. We can value it according to the uniformity.
