The 54-year-old actor will make his first appearance on the CBS soap July 12, playing the attorney of Adam (Michael Muhney).

Roberts is just the latest in a run of film and prime-time TV stars heading to daytime. David Hasselhoff recently resumed his role on The Young and the Restless for several episodes, Gilmore Girls dvds, Lost seasons 1-6, NCIS dvd set, Sons Of Anarchy series 1-3, Batman collection, Mad Men collection, Andromeda box set 1-5, Scrubs dvd set, and James Franco will return June 30 for a second arc on ABC's General Hospital.
Roberts most recently starred on the Starz drama Crash and will next appear in the film The Expendables, One Tree Hill dvds, Tales From the Crypt seasons 1-7 dvd box set, Gilmore Girls boxset, The Office dvd box set, coming out in August.

Desperate Housewives dvd series - Nicolette Sheridan

Former Wisteria Lane resident Nicollette Sheridan has filed a lawsuit against ABC and Desperate Housewives dvd series executive producer Marc Cherry, La Femme Nikita dvd, alleging that Cherry physically assaulted her, Entourage dvd, The Tribe seasons 1-5, and that when she complained about it, The Tribe seasons 1-5, it led to her dismissal from the show.

The 46-year-old actress is suing ABC, La Femme Nikita dvds, Sons Of Anarchy dvd, ABC Studios, Andromeda complete seasons, Desperate Housewives seasons 1-6dvd box set, Mad Men box set 1-4, Scrubs dvd, Batman dvd box set, The A-Team dvd set, Touchstone Television and Cherry for $20 million, Medium box set 1-6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On top of wrongful termination, That 70s Show dvd box set, Tales From the Crypt 1-7, the seven-count complaint alleges assault and battery, gender violence, discrimination based on sex, That 70s Show 1-8, Lost seasons 1-6dvd box set, La Femme Nikita dvd 1-5, Batman complete seasons, Desperate Housewives boxset, sexual orientation and age, retaliatory termination, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

"While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit," ABC Studios said in a statement.
Reps for Sheridan and Cherry did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
